On 16 November 2009 the Council of the Heads of Governments of the CIS appointed Mr.Vladimir Sokolin to the post of the Chairman of the Interstate Statistical Committee of the Commonwealth of Independent States.
According to the decision of the 41-st Meeting of the Council of the Heads of Statistical Services of the CIS Mr.Mikhail Korolev was elected the First Deputy Chairman of the Interstate Statistical Committee of the Commonwealth of Independent States.
On
3 December 2009 the Government of the Russian Federation appointed Mr.
Alexander Surinov to the post of the Head of Federal State Statistics
Service of the Russian Federation.
