The compendium contains systematized statistical information
on the main indicators of economic development of the CIS member-states in
2000-2008 and the 1st half of 2009. It is the seventh edition of this compendium
(the previous ones were released in 1997, 2000, 2001, 2003, 2005 and 2007),
commencing 2001 it has been prepared on the bilingual basis – in Russian and in
English.
The compendium includes the data
of the System of National Accounts (SNA) on rates of economic growth, structure
of economy, production, use and cost structure of Gross Domestic Product (GDP),
fixed assets and other selected elements of the national wealth. The compendium
also contains such macroeconomic indicators as indices of industrial and
agricultural production, investment, consumer prices and some others. It
contains the brief analytical review of the main macroeconomic tendencies in the
CIS countries in 2000-2008 and the 1st half of 2009.
